The Breed Family
Family is deeply important to us. One of the greatest blessings in our lives is the close relationship we share with our son, Max. Leaving the United States and moving overseas to France was not easy without him nearby, but we know God has an incredible plan and purpose for his life. We are filled with excitement and great expectation for his future.
Max graduated from a two-year Bible Institute program that originated through Pastors Mark Garver and Rhonda Garver of Cornerstone Word of Life in Madison. He is also part of the premier video class of 2026 at Faith Outreach Church in Terre Haute. Max is a strong man of God with a heart for Jesus, and we believe he will accomplish great things for the Kingdom of God in the years ahead.
International Ministry Background
A Journey of Faith, Vision, and Ministry
David and Carol Joy Breed have dedicated their lives to sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ, teaching the Word of God, encouraging believers through the power of the Holy Spirit, and helping people develop a deeper relationship with God. Their journey together has been marked by faith, prayer, perseverance, creativity, ministry, leadership, media outreach, and a growing vision to impact lives both in the United States and internationally.
David and Carol Joy were married in 1997 and immediately began pursuing God’s calling on their lives together. From the very beginning, they knew God had supernaturally brought them together for a greater purpose and placed within their hearts a passion for the nations and a desire to serve Him wholeheartedly. They believed that by keeping God first and Christ at the center of their marriage and ministry, they would fulfill the calling He had prepared for their lives.
For many years, David and Carol Joy have faithfully served together in ministry, believing that God has called them not only to preach the Gospel, but also to build places, spaces, and platforms where people can encounter Jesus, grow spiritually, and be empowered to fulfill their God-given destiny.
Bible Training & Ordination
After graduating from Bible training, David and Carol Joy were ordained into ministry and began pursuing the call of God on their lives together. During these formative years, they spent time ministering and serving in places such as Poland, Tulsa and Santa Barbara. These experiences helped shape their vision, deepen their faith, and strengthen their understanding of ministry, leadership, and following God’s direction step by step.
During their years in California, David and Carol Joy faithfully served under their pastors for over ten years while helping lead and pastor within the church. Carol Joy ministered to children for many years, while both were actively involved in youth ministry and discipleship. David also carried a strong passion for mentoring and training believers in helps ministry, teaching others the importance of serving faithfully and supporting the vision of their pastors and local church. These foundational years of ministry helped shape the pastoral leadership, teaching ministry, and international vision that would continue to grow in the years ahead.
Lead Pastors of Believers International Church
As their ministry continued to grow, David and Carol Joy became the Lead Pastors of Believers International Church, where they faithfully served together for nine years through preaching, teaching, prayer ministry, outreach, discipleship, leadership development, and pastoral care.
Their passion was to build a strong church family grounded in the Word of God, led by the Holy Spirit, and strengthened through prayer. David and Carol Joy were dedicated to helping children, youth, young adults, and families grow in faith, discover their God-given purpose, and develop a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ. Through biblical teaching, discipleship, and ministry training, they encouraged believers to live strong in God’s Word, walk in the power of the Holy Spirit, and fulfill God’s calling on their lives.
Expanding Through Media & Digital Ministry
As the digital world began to grow, David and Carol Joy recognized the importance of using media to reach people far beyond the walls of a church building. Together, they began developing online ministry platforms designed to bring biblical teaching, encouragement, and spiritual growth resources to people around the world.
Through years of dedication and consistency, they built an expanding online media presence that includes teaching videos, livestream broadcasts, websites, social media outreach, and digital ministry resources. They have continually embraced new ways to communicate the Gospel in today’s digital world, understanding that media can be a powerful tool for ministry, discipleship, and global outreach.
Their ministry outreach now includes hundreds of Bible teachings and livestreams focused on prayer, faith, the Holy Spirit, encouragement, Christian growth, and spiritual empowerment. Their online broadcasts have reached viewers from many nations, helping believers grow stronger in their walk with God.
Creative Ministry & The Power of Art
Creativity has also played an important role in their ministry journey together. Carol Joy began developing her artistic gift through inspirational landscape and seascape paintings that reflect the beauty, peace, and creativity of God.
Together, David and Carol Joy have embraced creativity, design, and visual storytelling as part of their ministry expression. Through artwork, media design, branding, teaching materials, and digital content, they desire to create beauty that points people toward the presence and glory of God.
Their ministry vision has always included not only biblical teaching, but also creating welcoming environments where faith, creativity, culture, and community can come together.
Breed Life International, Inc.
After many years of pastoral ministry, David and Carol Joy sensed God leading them into a new season. As they transitioned leadership of Believers International Church to longtime friends in ministry, they relocated to Terre Haute, Indiana, where they began serving alongside the pastors of Faith Outreach Church, who became their pastors, spiritual leaders, and close friends.
They began to base their ministry out of this church as their pastors encouraged them to develop their ministry for the international call on their lives. During this season, they began traveling to different churches, building relationships with pastors and their church families while continuing to grow in ministry, leadership, and vision.
In 2024, they became the Co-Founders of Breed Life International, Inc., a nonprofit organization created to help support and expand the vision and mission God had called them to fulfill. Through the faithfulness of partners and supporters who have joined together with them, Breed Life International helps fuel the mission, support their work in France, and continue advancing the vision God has placed before them.
An Ultimate Calling to France
After years of prayer and seeking God concerning the future, David and Carol Joy sensed a growing call in their hearts toward France. What began as prayer gradually developed into a much larger vision — one centered on reaching people, building spiritually impactful environments, and establishing long-term ministry work in France.
Believing God was leading them into a new season, they eventually relocated to France in obedience to that calling. Their move represented not simply a geographic transition, but the beginning of a new chapter filled with faith, sacrifice, and vision.
Since arriving in France, they have continued building ministry through online teaching, prayer broadcasts, media outreach, relationship building, translation projects, and long-term planning for future ministry development. Their heart for France continues to grow as they seek to share the love of Jesus and help people encounter the presence and power of God.
Online Ministry Growth From France
While living in France, David and Carol Joy continued expanding their online outreach through regular livestream teachings and media broadcasts.
One of the ongoing focuses of their ministry has been teaching believers about the tremendous power of prayer, the importance of praying in the Holy Spirit, and developing a deeper relationship with God. Through these broadcasts, they encourage believers around the world to remain strong in faith, filled with the Word of God, and sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit.
Their online ministry continues to connect with viewers internationally through livestreams, teaching videos, websites, newsletters, and social media outreach. They also continue developing multilingual ministry resources designed to help reach people in different nations and cultures.
Association Life France & The Vision Ahead
David and Carol Joy moved to France in September of 2024. As their vision for France continued to expand, they founded Association Life France while living in the country, officially establishing the organization at the end of 2025. Created as a France-based ministry and outreach organization, its mission is to build places where people can encounter Jesus, grow in their faith, discover their purpose, and experience the life-changing power of God.
Association Life France is designed to serve as an umbrella for future ministry, educational, creative, cultural, and outreach initiatives throughout France. At the center of this vision is the desire to create welcoming environments that combine faith, biblical teaching, creativity, community outreach, media, and spiritual growth.
One of the future expressions of this vision is Life City France — ministry and community-centered spaces that may include cafés, bookstores, Bible Institute training, creative arts workshops, media production, worship gatherings, prayer meetings, teaching events, youth outreach, and spaces designed to encourage spiritual growth and meaningful connection.
Their long-term vision is to mentor and strengthen pastors across France, establish 50 Life City ministry spaces throughout the nation, and see 3 million people come to know Jesus Christ through the transforming power of the Gospel.
David Breed
David is an international thinker and producer.
He is a husband, father, and friend, he grew up on farms and horse ranches in Illinois and California in the United States. He is a United States and World Champion BMX Freestyle rider, an international fashion model for brands such as Giorgio Armani, Benetton, Hugo Boss, Valentino, Wilke Sport, and Go Sport France, a professional solo mountaineer, a business leader, an entrepreneur, an angel investor, an author, a pastor, and a Bible teacher. He trained in business and team building at Harvard Business School, Tiffany & Company, and Nordstrom. He is an ordained and certified graduate of the RHEMA Alumni Association and RHEMA Ministerial Association International. He is also a DOMATA World Missions School graduate. He is passionate about France and has been praying for the country for over 30 years. He and his wife, Carol Joy, now reside in Dijon, France where they are setting up an international base to touch the nation of France and the world for Jesus Christ.

Carol Joy Breed
Carol Joy is a wife, mother, friend, Gospel minister, accomplished classical flutist, oil painter, entrepreneur, businesswoman, and Bible teacher.
Business Biography
Since 1989, she has worked her way up through management, design, and administration. Throughout the years, she has been employed by a variety of companies for over three decades. In 2013, she boldly embarked on her own business venture, specializing in administrative work. She is an entrepreneur and self-employed professional who now runs a remote business. She provides clients with unparalleled assistance in various areas, including structuring and organizing company accounts and records. Her expertise also includes legal filings and documentation, establishing her as the go-to professional for seamless company management. She has since expanded her creative expertise to include brand development for small businesses and nonprofits. This includes designing logos, websites, business cards, and social media outlets. Carol Joy is an artist. She is passionate about painting in oils on canvas. She has sold various artworks throughout the United States.
